This is my holy grail facial mask, currently on my fourth jar of using it. For the first time I decided to buy myself the self-preserving one, because I read a few great reviews on the website, let's just say I wasn't disappointed. I like this one even more. This is gonna be a review, including a comparison to the original one & the self-preserving one.
I have a pretty sensitive combination skin, & I use facial masks 2-3 times a week. Mask of Magnaminty has improved my skin a whole lot, it calms down breakouts after the first use. I even see a difference on the weeks where I don't use it, when I've ran out of it for example. I like the formula a lot, it cools down the skin immediately when you apply it. I apply it with my fingers, & gently massage it on my face.
The self-preserving formula is a bit creamier than the original one, which I appreciate a lot. The original formula dries pretty quickly, while the self-preserving one stays creamy, & leaves you with a gentle scrub when you wash it off. Both of them are really refreshing for the skin. I would say that the self-preserving one is a lot more hydrating than the original formula, because of how it dries on the skin.
It's a scent I'm having a hard time to describe, I'm not the best at describing scents. It's a minty scent definitely, but also something else that I haven't figured out yet. The self-preserving one also has a fresh touch to it. I know a lot of people really like the scent, which I don't agree with. I don't think it's a bad scent though, just not that great. Not too good but not too bad either.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend both of these, especially the self-preserving one.
I always recommend these to my friends when they're asking me for a good facial.
5/5
